NOTICE:
If you received a letter from your child's school concerning H1N1 Virus or Swine Flu guidelines, please note the updated recommendations. The new CDC recommendations have removed the previously recommended 7 day home bound period for students who feel they have the flu. Instead they recommend all children staying home until 24 hours after all flu symptoms have ceased. Still they are requesting that students not visit a doctor unless they have complicating symptoms that must be treated for the health of the child. Otherwise, families should limit exposure of their child to others.
